ORDER 27

Based in a communications bunker on the coast of Siberia, Officer Krovolov and his subordinate Vlad are tasked with carrying out Order 27.

Based on the 1983 Soviet Nuclear False Alarm incident, Order 27 is the 'what if' story had Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Petrov of the Soviet Air Defence Forces ordered the equal retaliation to the false detection of an American strike; arguably the closest the world has ever come to Nuclear Armageddon.
